A custom painted Helmet can be anything you can imagine. You can send us your ideas, photos, drawings and we will turn your concept into reality. Even though there are several staff at JLF Designs, all artwork is undertaken by Jason Fowler himself, so you can be assured of the same high standards at all times.

All helmets are stripped completely and thoroughly prepared for painting. The designs are then airbrushed with the greatest accuracy using specialist custom paints. They are then finished with a two-stage lacquer system which is smooth, tough and so glossy you will think it is still wet!

You can view some of our work in our Galleries, but please remember there is no limit to your (or our) imagination and these are only representative of previous helmets we have painted. You can have any design in any colour.

Pricing and Payment

The cost depends on the complexity of the design and the amount of hours involved. Prices start from £200 + VAT.

An average multi-colour race design costs approx £350.00 - £450.00 + delivery and VAT.

Cartoons and murals are extra, and are priced according to the amount of work involved.

Chroming adds £250 + VAT to the cost, and 2-3 weeks to the turnaround time.

Once the helmet is received and the price agreed, the price will not change (design changes notwithstanding).

Payment is to be made prior to dispatch or collection of helmet.

 No work is released until payment is received. 

 We accept cheques and most major credit cards. We also provide gift certificates.
